Exam Procedure

Examination

The location of an examination is normally at a training company after an accredited course.

Certainly, the exams are also offered publicly. You can find those dates on this website.

ISTQB Foundation Level examination is 60 minutes plus 15 minutes for non-native speakers.

Single ISTQB Advanced Level examination is 180 minutes, plus 45 minutes (25%) for non-native speakers.

Full ISTQB Advanced Level examination of all 3 modules is 540 (i.e. 3 x 180) minutes, plus 135 minutes (25%) for non-native speakers. There is a 30 minute break between each examination.

The examination has the form of a multiple-choice test. There is only one correct answer to each question. Please bring a valid photo ID with you for the exam.

Evaluation

After marking, the result of your examination is sent to you by e-mail. If you pass and have paid, you will receive your certificate which is valid internationally. At the moment, there are more than 280.000 people ISTQB certified worldwide.

Failing and repeating an exam

It is possible to fail the examination. If you fail it is possible to repeat the examination.

Prices

Each exam must be paid in Euro. You will be charged during filling application form issued by GASQ.
